Sangeet Mala is Scotland's first Asian language musical group. We specialise in colourful musical feasts of Indian music, song and storytelling. Our aim is to raise awareness of the richness of Asian music in the community. We meet weekly and welcome anyone interested in music-making, singing, storytelling and meditation.

Sangeet Mala offers a unique opportunity for Asian language speakers to work together in partnership with non-Asian language speakers and learn about Asian music-making, Asian culture, custom and language; an opportunity to celebrate and share the richness of our culturally diverse society.

Our music is a fusion of musical styles and traditions; the songs are drawn from a rich well of Indian-language, Scots and English cultures.
